Anything Raptor

for those enraptured with raptors a place to flock

My interest in raptors is just taking wing. What reference books/field guides would y'all recommend to help me identify raptors?

The best available are by William Clark and Brian Wheeler. Get all they have produced on raptors, which includes the photographic guide. You will not get any better.

You are welcome. The only thing the Clark and Wheeler books are not good for are the owls. Since I saw that great owl picture you contributed, I wanted to mention that the National Geographic Field guide to Birds of NA has some good illustrations for owls.

Thanks again. I'm looking forward to learning more about these fascinating creatures.
